Houses on the Moon Theater Company gives a world premiere to Camilo Almonacid's Hotel Happy beginning February 14, 2024, at 122CC's 2nd Floor Theater. Opening night is February 18 until March 3.

The new work is set at a “high-end erotic resort” in Bogotá, Colombia, where three sex workers are hiding a donkey from three American mercenaries on a special mission. The production will feature a seven-person cast plus a life-sized puppet as the donkey.

Estefanía Fadul is directing, with Matt Acheson (War Horse) as puppet director. The production will feature scenic design by Tanya Orellana, lighting design by Carolina Ortiz Herrera, costume design by Haydee Zelideth Antuñano, and sound design by Daniela Hart, Bailey Trierweiler, Noel Nichols, and UptownWorks.
